Take this into account with woodwick candles

Make sure that the candle always burns for at least 2 hours, preferably even between 3 and 4 hours for the most ideal scent and pool* result. -The wooden wick needs to be trimmed regularly. Make sure that the wick always protrudes 0.5 centimeters above the candle. This will ensure a better result.

*Pooling: When a candle is burnt correctly it will pool. The soy will liquefy up to the glass without a solid ring of soy against the rim.

How do you trim a WoodWick wick?

Wait until the candle has solidified and gently tap the wick, the wick will break off. Repeat until the specified length is reached.

Remove the leftovers. -A candle has started tunneling*, this only happens if the candle has not burned long enough.

If this occurs, you can easily solve this by letting the candle burn for at least 3 hours, this will cause the candle to pool and the problem will be solved. This can prevent the fuse from going "head down".

Then grab some kitchen or toilet paper and soak it in the liquid soy. This will remove some soy wax from the candle and the wick will resurface. - Do not put the lid back on the candle until it has completely cooled and solidified.

Use the lid of the candle as a coaster so that the surface cannot get too hot and be damaged.
